This is a new addition to the SCA site.
We will include community service opportunities for students as well as for adults who just want to contribute their time and skills to the neighborhood.
These activities will include internships, and volunteer openings at schools, churches, parks, librarys etc.
If you have any activities that you think we should list please contact Bob Scott at bscott45@yahoo.com
Check back often for new additions.

Friends of Forest Hill Park, Forest Hill Civic Association, Chesapeake Bay Foundation, Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay, Ra-More and the City of Richmond Parks and Rec. Department plans to reclaim the old trails on the Eastern side of Forest Hill Park. Friends of Forest Hill Park has purchased $3,000 worth of native/specialized plants to go along with 1,500 hard wood saplings that Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay has donated as well as all the plants that Ra-MORE volunteers dug up and staged from the new trail corridor.
This will be a fun day planting trees in the park so, come on out and get to know your park neighbor and fellow organizations helping to make this project a reality. This is a family friendly event so please bring the kids. I look forward to seeing you all there!
