Meetings are held at the SRA Rec. building. All are encouraged to attend.
The Huguenot Team
The tean is still waiting on the City of Richmond to officially announce the new Neighborhood Team structure. Consequently, we will not have a Huguenot Team meeting in March. In the absence of direction from the city administration, we will arrange for a meeting in April to discuss the Huguenot Bridge replacement project (we have secured the Project Manager from VDOT for our April meeting). In the meantime, as we receive information from the City, we will be certain to pass that along to our membership..
South of the James Market located in Forest Hill Park will open for its third season May 1 2010. During the winter months a number of the South of the James vendors will be selling their goods on Saturdays from 10 a.m. until noon in front of Blanchard's coffee on Forest Hill across from Westover Hills elementary school.
Harvey Memorial Bridge dedication
On May 22nd the rebuilt pedestrian bridge at Forest Hill Park will be renamed in honor of theHarvey family, who lived in Woodland Heights and often enjoyed the park. There will also be an installation of a memorial marker on the site. This proposal was introduced to Council by Mrs. Graziano.
